The Product

Thermacell is a spatial mosquito repellent that creates a 20-foot “zone of protection”, effectively replacing the need for sticky sprays, lotions, or ineffective citronella candles. By using heat-activated technology to disperse an invisible, scent-free barrier, the product allows users to reclaim their backyards and campsites from biting insects without the hassle.

The Challenge

Thermacell challenged us to help buy parents create a mosquito-free outdoor sanctuary without the planning or chemical concerns associated with traditional repellents. The brand sought to position its spatial technology as a worry-free solution that puts protection on “autopilot,” allowing families to reclaim their time outside.

Our Solution

To turn the backyard back into a sanctuary, we developed the “Yes Zone” campaign, which positions Thermacell as the ultimate enabler of worry-free family fun. By visualizing the product’s invisible technology as a glowing blue barrier, the creative highlights the 20-foot zone of protection that allows families to safe-guard their space. We focused on developing headlines that emphasize the emotional benefit of saying “yes” to spontaneous outdoor moments.
