AKKO is a comprehensive device protection service that provides affordable coverage for phones and personal electronics against accidental damage, theft, and loss. With deductibles as low as $29, it offers a crucial financial safety net for students and gig workers who can’t afford the high cost of replacing their digital lifelines.

The Challenge

The brand needed to drive sign-ups among budget-conscious young adults by shifting the perception of device insurance from a boring expense to an essential lifestyle enabler. We were tasked with alleviating the “paralyzing” anxiety of device loss and proving that protection is the key to living fearlessly.

Our Solution

To transform insurance into a tool for freedom, we developed the “Go Ahead, Live” campaign to position AKKO as the ultimate backup plan that allows users to navigate their day without holding back. Using a consistent “Go Ahead, [Verb]” headline structure, the creative pairs high-risk scenarios like skateboarding tricks, intense gym sessions, or roller coasters with the reassurance that cracks and breaks are covered. By directly acknowledging the chaos of a active lifestyle, the work establishes AKKO as the supportive friend that encourages you to “raise both hands” and enjoy the ride rather than worrying about the risks.
